About Finlay

Dr Finlay McCall is an educator and researcher working at the intersection of learning, AI and organisational practice. His PhD at the University of Canberra examined how curricula and courses can prepare people and AI systems to work together deliberately over time.

Finlay approaches AI through education. Rather than treating readiness as a matter of buying a tool or copying prompts, he focuses on the human judgement, shared routines and learning capability that help organisations decide where AI belongs, where it doesn't and how its use should improve.

He brings more than twenty years of teaching experience across Europe, Asia and Australia, alongside published research on machine education and human-machine teaming. His work with Milnsbridge translates that research into practical, evidence-led guidance for Australian businesses.
