Milnsbridge began in 2002. Adrian brought three decades of IT experience into the business, including work with Telstra, Citibank and Unilever. His aim was to make the discipline and accountability of enterprise IT useful to smaller organisations without burying owners and managers in technical language.
That requires more than technical knowledge. A business leader needs to decide which problems deserve attention, explain risk in plain English, and give the team enough authority to solve issues properly. It also means being available when a client is under pressure. Technology problems often arrive at the worst possible time, so the quality of the response matters as much as the tool being used.
Milnsbridge has grown to a team of around 17 people working from Sydney CBD and Penrith. Engineers, service delivery staff and account teams support clients across Greater Sydney. As the company expanded, Adrian kept the operating principle simple. The person who receives a problem owns it until the client has a clear path forward.
